Huong Le serves as a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst for equity investments in the Financials, Real Estate, and Pharmaceuticals sectors.

Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Huong was involved in pharmaceutical research at Evanston Hospital, advertising at Foote, Cone & Belding, and retirement plans at Charles Schwab and Wintrust Investments.

Huong holds a BS from Northwestern University in Biology and Psychology and an MBA with concentrations in Analytical Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago. She is a CFA charter holder and is a member of the Investment Analyst Society of Chicago.

Benjamin Kim, CFA®, CPA

Senior Portfolio Manager

Benjamin Kim is a Senior Portfolio Manager for the Small Cap strategy and is responsible for equity investments in the Industrial, Technology, and Telecom sectors. He also works with the Large Cap Value team as an Analyst for Technology, Industrials and Telecom sectors. He began his industry career in 1992 with experience in stock analysis and selection across a number of industries.

Prior to joining Great Lakes Advisors in 2011, Ben was an Investment Analyst at Harris Associates and a Securities Analyst for Skyline Asset Management.

Ben holds a BS in Accounting from Indiana University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago. He is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.

Scott Schneider, CFA®

Senior Research Analyst

Scott Schneider serves as a Senior Research Analyst covering All Cap Industrials, Technology and Telecom. Scott employs rigorous fundamental research in seeking attractive investment opportunities. Prior to joining the Fundamental Equity team, he was a Portfolio Manager and Analyst with GLA’s Fixed Income team, where he supported both taxable and tax-exempt fixed income investment strategies.

Scott graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 2001 with a major in Economics and is a CFA charter holder.
