Yu Wu is a passionate new graduate who recently joined the Disciplined Equity team at Great Lake Advisors. As a quantitative research analyst, Yu works closely with other research analysts and data engineers, utilizing data to drive strategic decision making, hence allowing the team to deliver even better portfolio management services to their clients.

Prior to joining Great Lakes Advisors, Yu had industry experience working as a developer as well as a data scientist for a research institution and an IT solution company respectively.

Yu graduated from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor’s degree in Statistics and obtained his master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Illinois Institute of Technology. Currently, Yu is a Microsoft certified Azure Data Engineer Associate and an Amazon Web Services (AWS) certified Cloud Practitioner.
